Kay C. McPherson was born September 13, 1946, in Fort Worth, TX, and passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Glen Rose, TX. Kay’s heart was always rooted in her home state.
For many years, Kay found joy in supporting the Glen Rose Tigers sports teams and the high school band. She could often be seen cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their various events, her face glowing with pride. Kay spent countless sunny afternoons with the ladies’ golf group, and there was nothing she loved more than a drive through Chicken Express with a Diet Coke on the journey home.
Adventurous at heart, Kay loved to travel, exploring the world with friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever. She was an active member of the Glenview Church of Christ, where she found solace and fellowship. Despite her various interests, what mattered most to Kay was her family. Her love for them was immeasurable and was reflected in the love they had for her.
Kay was survived by her sons, Marty (Karen) McPherson and Jeff (Laurie) McPherson, her grandchildren, Brad (Jaci) McPherson, Jessica (Jaren) Walshak, Joseph (Sarah) McPherson, Ben McPherson, Mary (Luke) Haydon, her sisters, Judy (Roger) Armstrong, Becky Phillips, and 6 great grandchildren and one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oran Page, her mother, Fay Feisler, and her beloved husband, Dale McPherson, whom she married in May of 1963.
