Ruby was born September 3, 1919 in Cleburne, Texas, the daughter of Clarence R. Lowe and Rosa Mae Cavasos Lowe. Mrs. Curtis was a retired licensed vocational nurse. She was a member of North Anglin Church of Christ. Survivors included three sons, Don Brewer of Cleburne, Brandy Curtis of Arlington and Dan Griffin of Granbury; one daughter, LaWanda Jean Parks of Dallas; one brother, Charles Lowe of Glen Rose; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was receded in death by her husband, Brady Curtis, Sr., who died July 4, 1988; one brother, Wayne Lowe; and one sister, Johnnye Vassar.
