Who maintains the cemetery?


The Georges Creek Board of Trustees oversee the maintenance of the cemetery, with funds donated by members. In order to keep the cemetery safe and enjoyable for all visitors, there are a set of regulations that all members need to follow. What are the regulations, as it relates to decorations?

All graves are limited to two (2) items of floral decoration and one (1) monument saddle floral design piece. These are limited to plants only, either live potted, artificial or cut flower arrangements and must be placed in vases or urns attached to the monument or on the saddle arrangement on top of the monument. How do new members join?

To qualify, you must be a direct descendant, or the spouse, of someone buried in the cemetery.

What are the guidelines as it relates to curbing?

When approved by the Board of Trustees, only curbing of concrete with approved reinforcing material shall be used to outline the cemetery grave sites; being four (4) inches in width, extending to a depth of six (6) inches below grade and no more than 2 inches above the existing grade.
