Myrtle was born on December 2, 1915, in Somervell County, to James Tell and Cordelia Cheek Armstrong. She was a member of the Glenview Church of Christ.
Mrs. Eddy was survived by her son, Doug, and wife, Seung Hee and daughter, Priscilla Talley and husband, Paul, all of Cleburne. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Doug Eddy, Robert Eddy, Shane Eddy, Major Chad G. Carroll, Natalie Featherston Modica, Edith Featherston Kerns, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Warren Eddy, and her daughter, Janette Featherston, and son-in-law, Riley Featherston, parents, J.T. and Cordelia Cheek Armstrong, and eight brothers and sisters.
