Beth LaFon Fox was born on December 11, 1939 to Roy and Thelma Britt in Lelia Lake, Texas. Beth was the big sister to Ruth Ouidon Britt by 3 years.
Beth was the mother of 5 children, Gerald, Mark, Melanie, Dorthy, and Terry. She stayed home to raise them, mainly in Duncanville, Texas where they all graduated from Duncanville High School. Beth later joined the workforce and was employed by Bowman Distribution in Grand Prairie, Texas for over 20 years.
She later married Kenneth Eugene Fox on October 20, 1990 and gained another son. Beth and Kenneth were married for nearly 29 years. Some of Beth’s hobbies were playing her piano, cooking, sewing, knitting, sudoku puzzles, crossword puzzles, and 42 dominoes just to mention a few. Beth was a devout member of the Church of Christ. She was always available to serve in any capacity. During her life, she made many friends through her involvement with the church. She loved to sing many hymns and study the Bible. Some of her favorite scriptures came from the book of Corinthians.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, sister Ruth, stepson Kenneth (Kenny) Fox Jr., and grandson Ben Wright. She was survived by her sons Gerald Webb and wife Elsa, Mark Webb and wife Brenda, Terry Webb and wife Heidi, daughters Melanie Martinez and husband Pete, and Dorothy Massey, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
