Mrs. Gregory was born June 18, 1929, in Fort Worth, to Fred R. and Mamie Louise Harber Schmidt. She married S. A. Gregory, June 28, 1948, in Fort Worth. She had lived in the Glen Rose – Georges Creek area since 1998 but the connection goes back to the 1940’s. She was a member of the Georges Creek Baptist Church where she played the piano and was active in the Ladies Bible Study, Sunday school and vacation bible school. She also was a member of the Ladies Lions Club, Eastern Star and the book club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Don Whitworth of Rainbow, Valerie and Chuck Wallis of Hurst, Lynley and Phil Nettleton of Georges Creek; grandchildren, Blaine, Becky, Matt, Dion, Misty, Kelli, Kerri, Haley, Cassi; and ten great grandchildren.
