Calvin J. Keller was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Johnson County, near Cleburne, to Calvin J. Keller, Sr. and Mary Frances Forsythe Keller. Calvin J. Keller, Jr. attended and graduated from Cleburne High School in 1946. Calvin married Billie Rayburn on June 15, 1946, and they had two children, a son and a daughter. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in Cleburne as an apprentice and clerk for fifteen years. Calvin was employed by Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company in June 1965, and worked in management as an assistant director of labor relations, headquartered in the Katy building in downtown Dallas. He was employed two years as a consultant by Union Pacific Railroad aiding consolidation of railroad employees when UPRR Company purchased Katy in 1988. Calvin was active in Church Ministries and was a Pastor of Churches. Calvin was active in Weight Watchers of Dallas and conducted classes for 17 years from 1970 to 1987.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin, Sr., mother, Mary Frances Forsythe-Keller and an infant brother, Bobby Dale Keller.
Survivors included his son, Larry Keller and wife, Virginia, of Cleburne; daughter, Pamela Norrell and husband, Tracy, of Burleson; sisters, Mary Loggins of Henrietta, and Jessie Dave, of Goldthwaite; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many friends and his loving faithful blonde lab, Abbie.
