George was born on April 28, 1950 to Louis A. and Yoland Dikes Marino in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Rio Vista High School in 1969. He was of the Baptist faith. He married Flora Goodwin on January 1, 1984 in Rainbow, Texas. He resided in Rainbow for 15 years. George loved driving a truck for more than 20 years. He had a great love for his wife, children, grandchildren and brothers and sisters and he loved the Lord. George was survived by his wife, Flora Marino of Rainbow; sons, Erick Marino and wife Ashley of Cleburne and Edwin Marino of Rainbow; daughters, Theresa Marino and husband Fred Hodge of Cisco, Michelle Froman and fiance, Russell Lem of Cleburne, and Tracie Marino and fiance Ely Brown of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Courtney, Julie and Alli Hodge, LeRoy Froman III, Russell Lem II, Brooke, Hayleigh, Lylly and Christyna Marino on one on the way; brothers, Michael Marino and wife, Ilva of Virginia Beach, VA; Anthony Marino and wife, Hop of Arlington, Texas; John Marino and Louise Marino and wife, Tonie of Rio Vista; Sisters, Theresa Young and husband, Mike, of Cleburne, Clara Ratliff, Lanan Holt and husband Bobby, and Annie Marino of Rio Vista; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Yolanda Dikes Marino.
