He died on May 8, 1937 in Hood County Texas at the age of 84. He lived in Hunt, Texas in 1860. He lived in Justice, Texas in 1910 and in Hood, Texas in 1930. His mother passed away in 1865 at the age of 30. His father William P passed away on June 29, 1909 in Somervell County, Texas at the age of 86. He was survived by his 4 children, Manuel Orr, Mrs. Fannie Carmichael, Mrs. Kate Stalcup, and Mrs. Dollie Mayfield. Twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
