Roy L. “Dick” Orr was born September 13, 1913, in Fort Spunky. Mr. Orr married Bessie Orr on January 18, 1936 in Cleburne. He Was A member of the Glenview Church of Christ in Glen Rose. Mr Orr was a lifelong resident of the Fort Spunky and Cox Bend communities. He worked as a natatorium Laundry supervisor. He enjoyed gardening, music and cattle ranching. He served as a Georges Creek Cemetery Association Trustee starting in 1979. Mr Orr was preceded in death by his parents James Manuel and Gracie Ellen Cheek Orr. Survivors: Wife, Bessie Orr of Glen Rose, sister Zelma Vinson of Cleburne; and several nieces and nephews.
