Gene Paul Pinson, son of Faye Norton Pinson and Samuel Wallace Pinson, died Oct. 10, 2020, at the age of 82 after a long battle with lung cancer.
Gene obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from West Texas State University, and forged a career in sales and management primarily in the trucking industry. He was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and the Masonic Lodge and was a long time resident of Fort Worth.
Gene was survived by daughters, Lisa Houchin and Leslie Lackman and their husbands, Blake Houchin and Jed Lackman; grandchildren, Lauryn and Anna Houchin and Sadye and Shane Lackman. Perhaps most remarkable are his amazing circle of friends, many of whom have known him since elementary school. He is remembered by all as a loving father, devoted friend, and an avid Red Raider fan.
