Luella Rhodes, 60, a housewife, died Friday, August 1, 2003 in an auto accident in Glen Rose. Mrs. Rhodes was born May 13, 1943, in Cleburne to Jake and Mildred Dingler. She married Max Rhodes July 20, 1961, in Mansfield. She was a member of Community Life Center Church, a lifelong Glen Rose resident. She and max owned and operated Rhodes Canoe Rental for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Corey Blake Jackson, March 27, 1997. He was survived by her husband, Max Rhodes of Glen Rose; sons and daughters-in-law, Rhett and Donna Rhodes, Jimbo and Cheryl Rhodes, Shane and Beatrice Morrison, all of Glenn Rose; daughter, Delaine Rhodes of Glen Rose; eight grandchildren; sister, Barbara Ingram of Glen Rose;; brother D.W. Dingler of Alvarado.
