Romelda was born on August 29, 1938 in Caddo County, Oklahoma to Lawrence C. and Modena Patterson Rogers. She married Freddy J. Vinson in March 1956 in Joshua. Romelda loved to visit and shop with her sister, Jerrie. She enjoyed flower gardening outside. She was very family oriented and enjoyed cooking for everyone at family gatherings. Mrs. Vinson was a teller for Pinnacle Band and First Financial Bank with over 20 years of service, retiring in 2007. She was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church. She was survived by her children, Mike Vinson and Tina and husband Jack Allen; sister, Jerrie Martin; grandchildren, Brian, Cody, Tyler, Brittany and Amy; four greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Tammy Colson; granddaughter, Tara; siblings, Lloyd Rogers and Betty Jean; and brother-in-law, Sid Martin.
