George was born August 24, 1929, in Fort Spunky, Texas, to George Sr. and Jewell Cavasos Watson. He married Lucille Watson on July 5, 1947. Mr. Watson formerly worked for Safeway and Brown & Root and was of the Church of Christ faith.
George W. Watson Jr. was survived by his sons, Jerry (Bubba) Watson and Lola of Joshua and Larry (Mikey) Watson and wife, Kim, of Godley; daughters, Linda McPherson and husband, John, of Aquilla and Vicky Smith and husband, James, of Burleson; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Watson, on June 15, 2004.
