Ernest Henry Liegel was born in Buffalo, New York on January 5, 1933, he was the son of Ernest Henry Liegel and Estelle Gresley Liegel.
He was a retired ship builder and electrician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cave City.
Survivors include his sons: Robert Alan Liegel of Eugene, OR and Michael Roy Liegel of Cabot, AR; daughters: Pamela Laake of Batesville, AR and Cynthia Faye Roper of Cave City; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Robert Carl Hawks of New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Millie Jane Liegel.
